as far as I'm concerned, I always clock 'new posts' and get all posts independent of category.
In fact I ignore categories, they are more useful to find similar discussion

I also pretty much ignore the categories. I just scroll down the "What's New?" list.

Already replied on that thread too, as have 3 other people, so it definitely did get read.
