I'm having a problem with the example code SamplePlayer from the audio library. Its plays back the samples on button presses as expected when the teensy is powered by USB / connected to the computer, but when I power the unit with a USB cable connected to a regulated 5V from an LM7805, the button presses send out a continuous stream of triggers.
Any suggestions? I'm guessing it's a power issue but not sure why or how. Buttons are connected to pins 1, 3, and 4 and ground. The voltage from the regulator is a steady 4.96V and smoothed with capacitors. Is there a better way to power the teensy and board with 5V? I see a 3.3v input on the audio board but don't have a regulator for that at hand.
