Hello folks, I'm hoping that someone can chime in with some advice on the feasibility of using Teensy for a project.

The description is relatively simple. I need a device that I can plug in a SD card and a USB flash drive into and copy the files from the SD card to the USB flash drive. Both the SD card and USB flash drive will be formatted FAT32, and some of the files will be relatively large (up to 1 GB is possible, with most being 8-25 MB).

It appears that the 3.6 version can indeed do this, or at least has the hardware on-board to accomplish the task. I'm just not sure that it can be put to use like I need...

Am I barking up the wrong tree, or is Teensy 3.6 a contender?

Today, not really feasible.

Someday the USBHost_t36 library will get a MSC driver. But today it doesn't support USB storage at all.
