Hi,

I am currently planning to build a breakout board for the Teensy 3.6 which has to include the bottom pads.
The current plan is to use pogo pins to make contact from the bottom and secure the Teensy with female / male pin headers.

I have 2 questions:

1. Does anyone have experience with the "pogo" pins? Do i need to solder additional contact pads?
2. Is there a reference "Dimension" for Teensy 3.6 that includes the bottom pads? I only found https://www.pjrc.com/teensy/dimensions.html.

Kind regards

I have built a couple of the breakout boards, that use pogo pins: https://www.tindie.com/products/loglow/teensy-3536-breakout-revision-a-standard/

I have played around with my own versions that instead use normal surface mount pins. Also I did a version that had cutouts, and built one of them:

Don't know what tools you are wanting to use, but there are some Eagle and I believe some KiCad libraries for the different Teeensy boards, which I believe have versions with most all of the pads defined. You can find more of them up at: https://www.pjrc.com/teensy/eagle_lib.html

I use Diptrace, and convert Eagle libraries into Diptrace versions.

Will be interesting to see what you come up with.

I've played with the POGO idea a bit more and here is what i've come up with:

The outside row of the pins will be female / male headers and the inside pogo's connecting either to the teensy itself or soldered on contact pads (not decided yet)
Thanks to jamescarruthers as the package is based on his work.
