Midi Feedback from Ableton Sync

I'm setting up a midi controller using Teensy 2.0. All is going great except when I set the controller to receive sync from Ableton to Teensy, it resends the sync data back to the computer. Is this normal? Is there a midi thru feature I can disable?

Any chance your code's send function is being triggered unexpectedly?

There's a good chance, in fact! It turns out the pin I've assigned to at metronome LED has also been assigned to a Midi Output so I know what to troubleshoot. Thanks for the help!

So you're doing hardware MIDI? I might of thought of an electrical connection if you'd mentioned that. I'd assumed usbMIDI since you said you are sending to software.
