Hello,
I would like to get into the world of SDR, and have seen the Teensy C - SDR. Can a different codec be used with the Teensy module? Say for example TLV320AIC3204 which has an easy to solder pitch or am I restricted to SGTL5000?

Many thanks

That depends on you. If you want a ready to use object with the audio library and the easy-peasy graphic GUI design tool, you’d have to stay with the codecs listed there. But if you want to use a non-supported (up to now) codec, nobody will hinder you from contributing your code to the audio library. :)

Will this library do? https://github.com/chipaudette/OpenAudio_ArduinoLibrary

It does have a .h file for the TLV.

So if this is added to the .ino file in place of the SGTL? version and the calls are replaced as necessary would it be ok?

Thanks

You are on the wrong path... Nobody mentioned the Open Audio Library for Arduino in this thread - Everything here is about the TEENSY audio library which comes with Teensyduino and which is documented on the PJRC website. Don't you read the documentation and data sheets before selecting components for a project?
