Teensy LC USB - Direct Connect?

Is there anyway to hardwire a USB cable to a LC? The plug connector seems to be giving me a intermittent (cuts in and out) connection when I move the board slightly. Would like to try hardwiring it to the cable to improve reliability

The LC underside at the USB seems to match the T_3.2 based on my glance at the card.

There is an OSH board :: seems like this> Teensy 3.2 USB v2

I just got two sets - but think I had V1 in my cart - above posts says remove the metal edge trace and mine will work.

As noted in the various links above it is certainly possible, The teensy LC reference card shows the pads on the under side you can go to. Just be careful not to rip the pads off in the process.

Thanks for the info, just to confirm d+ to d+. And d- to d- ( no crossover)

Should be fairly safe that D+ is D+ but a sanity check comparing continuity inside the USB jack when plugged in and on your new soldered cable will provide insurance against anything odd in your donor cable etc.

It is possible to go through the holes in the jack, but the test is much easier if you happen to have a spare USB host side jack that breaks the points out.
