"Absolute" positioning

Just wondering about some methods to track a video camera position / orientation in a live show, outputing something near enough "absolute" coordinates during some time.
I know some sensors tends to drift, and other fusion sensors tends to combinate different data and filter it to have coherence. among gyroscope and accelerometer, magnetic north, gps coordinates do you know some nice packaged version accurate enough to track a video camera during some minutes?

Have you looked into the HTC Vive tracker?
You can get the trackers seperately but idk whether you can buy the base stations without the VR headset though...
