stupid question about mounting potentiometers

Hi

I own a ton of those potentiometers which have their pins on the bottom-side.. oO

.. and I aks myself how to solder those to my future PCB ?? .. I mean, I want to have them sitting on the PCB and looking up verticaly.
Do I need to buy others or is there a way to use those?
 
vertically? i guess you could solder the thru holes straight into the pcb with the help of solid wire, without hopefully having the base short anything on the PCB :)
