For a circuit I'm designing I need to connect one digital output of a Teensy to the inputs of multiple 74HCT257 multiplexer IC's.
To be more precise, I have 32 74HCT257's and the signal from one output needs to connect to four input pins on each IC for a total of 128 connections.
The signal is a 833 KHz square wave and I need the IC to react to the rising edge within 50 ns.
I was wondering whether I will run into problems if I connect the one output to the 128 inputs directly.
Should I for example put a 74HCT245 in between to buffer the signal?
Does anybody know what the appropriate way is to connect this?
