Hey there,
Looking to find the best way to store and play audio samples with my prop shield.

I used Audacity to convert a snare drum wav file to RAW format and then used TeensyTransfer to put it on my prop shield flash memory.
However when played with the PlayFlashRaw object the quality is really bad. Sort of a muffled/lofi sound that doesn't match the original very well.

In comparison, using wav2sketch and the PlayMem object produces a much higher quality sound that is close the the original.
Also when playing the Raw files back in audacity the quality is fine, so it wasn't the conversion process.

Anyone know how the quality could be improved?
Alternatively, is there a way for me to store and access wav2sketch data on the prop shield? Is this even possible?

Cheers.

On linux sox tmp.wav --bits 16 --rate 44100 --channels 1 TOPGUN.RAW

i think on audacity, you need to open your WAV file, rate is 44100 hz
Tracks > Stereo to Mono
File > Export audio
other uncompressed files
RAW (header-less)
signed 16-bit PCM
(change file name to whatever.raw)
