Hello,
I suspect I fried my Teensy 3.6, but I'm not sure. Is there something I can do to verify it?
Looks like the Teensy wont turn on, but the chip itself does not get hot (or even warm).
Hooking the VIN and GND pins to a bench power supply and setting it to 5V and 200ma current limit, the power supply immediately changes to CC mode, so there's probably a short somewhere. The MK66 itself does not get hot or even warm, looking at the board with a thermal camera while it's "shorting" reveals that the only chip that gets hot (~40 C) is this one:
Which according to the schematics I think it's the voltage regulator.
Is there any way to verify that the MK66 itself is dead?
Thanks!
