Is there an equivalent for the PIC CTMU on the Teensy?

I am not looking to capacitive touch, but a timer for distance measurement.

I need better than the 60MHz I get with PulsePosition. Hoping for 1-4 nsec

If none of the existing functionality can be used for this purpose, is there any off-the-shelf component that could be combined with a Teensy?
Last ditch: are there any good starter examples of combining a Teensy with a PIC32?
