Power through Midi Out

I'm using my Teensy 3.6 to wrangle some Midi data and sending it out through a Din Midi connector matching this circuit: https://www.pjrc.com/teensy/td_libs_MIDI_sch_t3.png
All is working well, just now that I was trying hook it in-between my sequencer and my synths, I'm realizing that the Teensy doesn't seem to provide the needed Midi power to feed the Midi Solutions Quadra Thru (powered through Midi). I've used it behind multiple different sequencers and synths and never had that issue.
My guess is that it might be related to the 3.3V instead of 5V coming from the Teensy 3.6.
Any ideas if there's away to provide more power?

Power thru MIDI is not a standard.

Paul's circuit has slightly higher resistor values than the new 3.3v midi Elec. Spec. so current would be some what less but is sufficient for isolators commonly used.

Thanks for your reply! I'll replace my resistors by the ones recommended in the 3.3V Midi spec and see if that'll let enough current through for the Quadra Thru.

otherwise would great to power-up a teensy LC by midi in to get an agile processor. any hint about it ?
