Driving a 5V graphic LCD with Teensy 3.2?

Hi!

I'm looking at driving a KS0108 graphic LCD (128x64) (parallel) with a Teensy 3.2.

The LCD is using 5V logic levels, and the logic Vmin is 4.7V, so it won't work at all with 3.3V. Now the question is if I should use a logic level shifter, find another LCD (although this one is really affordable) or go with the Teensy 2.0 instead.

The Teensy is only going to drive this display and handle 4 pushbuttons, but I'm a little bit concerned over the draw performance with the slower 2.0 version. Maybe it's fine, but I don't know for sure.

Any suggestions for the best approach?

/Erik
