Hi,
I'd like to use freeverb in a project such that the effect will only be applied when the user pushes and holds a button. Is there any way to turn an effect like freeverb on and off, so that it acts like a simple pass through when it's off? I realize that I can use a mixer to select between the original signal and the reverb-modified signal but I hate the idea of freeverb always chugging away at 21% CPU even though the effect will only be required a few seconds every day.
Any suggestions?
Thanks!
