Teensy 3.2 Update program - where to begin?

I searched for this quite a bit but I'm not exactly sure what to search for, so here are the details.

I made a Synth with the Teensy 3.2 that takes input on what notes to play from a Super Nintendo controller. A friend of mine thought it was cool and wants me to make one for him, but the programming isn't finished, and he definitely isn't the type to be able to install Arduino and Teensyduino and figure it all out.

So my question is, how hard is it to make a program that can update the Teensy 3.2 as I continue to program it? Perhaps one already exists? Ideally I'd like to upload the code somewhere online, and have the program alert him when an update is ready. He plugs in the Teensy and clicks update, and boom, update is done.

I'm kind of out of my depth here, so any helpful pointers on where to start looking or learning resources would be very much appreciated. Thanks so much

you can build a HEX file on your IDE and email it to your friend. He can use command-line loader, see

google "teensy hex loader" and you may find other threads, e.g.
