Simple Midi Over Ethernet Controller

Hello! I've made a few midi controllers with Teensy 2.0 and 3.6.

What I'd like is to build is a stompbox with a couple buttons that send midi to my computer or a midi interface over a LONG cable run of say 100 feet. This should be easy with midi over ethernet and teensy but I haven't found any examples online and I don't know what to research first.

I assume I need a Teensy 3.6, a WIZ820io adapter and module. But I'm not sure if I'm creating a server or a client. I'm not sure if I need to open TCP connections or simply use a library that handles that.

Thanks in advance for any direction.

Hey that's great. Came across this in my search but didn't look deep enough to see the Ethernet Shield examples. This should get me most of the way there. Thanks for the link!
