Teensy 3.2 hourmeter for harvest controller

good evening, I have to do an hour meter with teensy 3.2, I had intension to use the internal RTC and an external eeprom in i2c, but I arose a problem the eprom will be destroyed by writing and reading it often.
Does anyone have any solution?:confused:
