    sm16703 led strips NEWBIE

    Hi to all,
    I have purchased a few 5m/30ledpm rolls of so called ws2811 led strips and when the shipment arrived the ic's on the strips are marked sm16703, question is
    are they the same as ws2811 strips and will they be compatible for a teensy matrix setup.

    They often play loose with descriptions...

    But from what a quick overview of the datasheets tells me, they're pretty similar.
