Hey guys,

Wondering if anyone has some clues on how to achieve creating an audio interface with a teensy.

Ideally I would like 8 channel inputs, each with an ADC, summed together and transmitted through USB or thunderbolt (assume USB is sufficient). Also assume I would need a software driver so I can pick up the inputs and individual route then in my choice of DAW. This way I can split and process each input individually.

Problem is, I’m unfamiliar with the process of passing audio data through USB.

Does anyone have any clues, tips on the process or has anyone completed such a project using a Teensy?

Any help would be great

Thanks guys

8 channels at 44.1 kHz 16 bits would use most of the 12 Mbit/sec USB bandwidth. It may be possible, if you hack the USB audio code, which currently does 2 channels input and 2 channels output.
