Testing S/P DIF with AudioPlaySerialflashRaw

Hi all,
I'm trying to get S/PDIF optical output work using AudioOutputSPDIF with AudioPlaySerialflashRaw, using a Teensy 3.6, and a flash memory chip W25Q128FV. Same configuration works on Teensy 3.2; does anyone know if there is any issue of AudioOutputSPDIF with Teensy 3.6 ?
