    Teensy 3.6 - GND or AGND

    hi @all,

    i'm not sure
    am i supposed to use GND or AGND for serial connection over RX1/TX1 ?

    thx for hint ...

    thx ... AGND only for measurement via analog pins ... right ?

    Yes, only in conjunction with true analog I/O (not PWM)

    Hello, does that include connecting AGND to GND on an analog multiplexer? Thanks

    It depends on the multiplexer and the ground current peaks it generates during input switching or not. Normally, the logical GND of a multiplexer IC like a CD4051 would go to GND, while the reference potential of the switched/multiplexed inputs would be connected to AGND. Best results always by mentally anticipating switching effects and to verify the optimal S/N ratio with an oscilloscope.
