I wanted to improve disk write speed for data loggers (minimizing FS based delays) and came up with zeroFS. It writes data strictly (nearly) sequential to disk. It provides filing without the complexity of a full-blown FS.

It implements MTP to access data from PC.

If someone wanted to play with it and maybe use it, please note that it completely destroys any existing file system on the disk.

I'm sure, this is not the first attempt and there should be similar systems around, but it was easy to do, so I tried it.

Sounds like a nice idea! SD cards are so fitful and working around DIR and cluster chain updates doesn't help - even if the file itself is sequential.
