Why are there duplicate pins grayed out on the Teensy 4.0 pinout cards?

From what I can tell there are only 4 pins like this, and I don't see an explanation for them anywhere on the pinout cards:

CTX1 is in normal font on pin D22, and also in a lighter gray font on D11
CRX1: D23 -> D13
RX5: D21 -> D38
TX5: D20 -> D39


Why are these pins in particular duplicated?
 
That is the normal method of indicating an 'Alternate pin function' going back to the Teensy 3.x cards.

Where a pin has one or more primary functions the text for the bus/use 'type' is solid black font.

When a pin can be used - through software specification - to fully support as an Alternate/replacement to the primary pin it is indicated in the lighter grayed font.
