    encored T 4.0

    hello
    the T4.0 is very a nice board
    the controller read 4 QEI for quadrature encoder
    have you a idea for that?

    PRJC has a nice tutorial on quadrature encoders. You can find it here: https://www.pjrc.com/teensy/td_libs_Encoder.html. I have used quad encoders to measure motor speed and wheel speed as well as direction of motion in robotics.     Quad encoders work the same on the T4 as the T3.x. The encoder library that is mentioned in the tutorial works with the T4. It was tested during Beta testing.

    The T4 also has h/w quad encoders that I tested but we haven't converted that into a usable library yet.

    good new for the teensy 4.0 the 4 QEI h/w are very useful
    the tennsy 4.0 as 39 pinout but the imxrt 1062 as 196 pins what is possible?
    i dont fine the pinout of the imx
    more infos will be very nice for progress in this way

    Yes 196 pins - but only one square inch to build a PCB and bring signals out beyond those needed for function - and cost under $20!
