Teensy 4.0 Download Problem

To All.

I am the proud owner of a Teensy 4.0 Board.

I have followed the instructions for loading a new Ardunio IDE and Teensy Library install.


I have been able to build the benchmarking sketch.

But when I attempt to down load the code I get the attached nasty message:

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Indicated in that displayed message is a note that the compilation was for Teensy 4 - but the Teensy connected on 'Port' for upload was a T_3.2.

Perhaps unplug the T_3.2. In any case in the IDE look at Tools / Port and make sure the Teensy 4 is shown and then select it when the Board is set for Teensy 4.

It may be the Teensy 4 is not shown on 'Port' menu? For the FIRST upload to Teensy 4 then do a 'Verify' build and press the Button on the Teensy 4.
 
I stand corrected.

I am now able to download sketch to board now that I actually have a Teensy 4.0 connected instead of a Teensy 3.2,
