Hi all,

I'm working on a concept that involves controlling an array of stepper motors (up to 100 in a 10x10 grid) at the same time. The idea is that a master controller (could be a pc or another teensy) would send a serial message to be received by a teensy at each of the motor locations and then each teensy would do something with the motor based on the message it receives (they all receive the same message). Messages from the master only get sent every few seconds or longer. The grid spacing is 12in so the master could be around 20 feet away from the farthest teensy.

I'm wondering how I can effectively get the message to all 100 teensy boards reliably and without much delay. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.
