After installing Teensyduino, Mac "Arduino" would like to receive keystrokes...

Hoping somebody can help me here. I'm on MacOS 10.15 Catalina. After installing Arduino IDE 1.8.10, the IDE runs just fine. After installing Teensyduino 1.48, however, I get the following message:

"Arduino" would like to receive keystrokes from any application.

The Arduino IDE app crashes right after this.

On my Mac, under Security & Privacy > Privacy > Input Monitoring there is no request from an app that I can grant access to stop this dialogue box from popping up.

The very same thing happens after installing Arduino IDE 1.8.9 and Teensyduino. I can run the software just fine on an old PC I have.

Indeed. Asked & Answered. Still took me a while to get it right. I'm just recapping what I did here in case people don't find the thread you linked to. I did in fact search but couldn't relevant info.

The trick is to give Arduino "Full Disk Access" in Catalina's System Preferences, under Security & Privacy.

It still tells me "Arduino" would like to receive keystrokes from any application. but at leats it doesn't crash after that.
