Teensy 3.2 Enable Analog Reference

Hello,

Does analogReference(EXTERNAL) enable aref when using the Arduino framework? Also, is the ADC 10 bit resolution?

My apolgies if this is a stupid question or the answer is present somewhere else. New to Teensy.
