Audio Shield lino out x 4 by OP-AMP

Hi, do u have suggestions for a schematic op-amp amplifier x4 db working for the output of Teensy Audio Shield...
TL074 ic is the best way?
Is there a schematic example available for this?

Hi,

there are many suitable preamp modules available on eBay that will do the trick. most need a 12 v supply.

The AD828 based ones might do the trick, as they will run on 5v. Beware, though that with a voltage gain of 4 (12dB) you will run out of headroom at 5v, with even a modest signal.
