    CanBUS joystick

Hi guys, I have a project in mind for a couple years and I want to have advice if it's doable or not!

I'm a simulator gamer and I want to build joystick's setup to play Farming/construction Simulator etc.

Basically I'll want to buy 2 Joystick with can setup to reduce cabling and have the flexibility to do what I want just by reprogramming the controller.

Can a teensy board will be able to make this project work and be recognize be the PC as a gamepad or input device.

    P. S. : I'm not a programmer at all, but I'm familiar with coding simple thing and can learn if I have a how to / documentation.

Yes you can do that. But why CAN?
I'd chose a more simple protocol between the Joysticks.

I think there is a joystick-example somewhere if you download Teensyduino.

Because for this type of joystick head I'll have a damn load of wire to route if I go the pot or hall sensor.

There is a CANbus library somewhere, too, but I haven't used it.
