matlab + teensyduino - possible?

Hi there - just wondering whether anyone has been able to use the matlab arduiono support package to communicate with a teensyduiono. I have a 3.6 and would like to use matlab running on a mac to communicate/control a teensyduino. Is this possible, if so any pointers to getting it up and running?
