I am currently planning to build a synthesizer and I need some help choosing a board configuration. Initially I intended on using the Teensy 4.0 with the audio shield 4.0, but I read that the 4.0 doesn't have a DAC, which I think might be important for the project. I also found the DAC kit (https://www.pjrc.com/store/pt8211_kit.html) but I'm not sure if I would need just the DAC or also the audio shield.
Does anyone have any advice? Any input would be appreciated.
