Quad USB Output

Hello everyone,

since it is possible to output four channels using to boards (with a little modification) I wanted to ask, if there is a possibilty to use the four inputs to be output in quad-usb output.

This depends on what you consider "possible".

If you only consider software support which exists today, then no.

If you have good programming skill and deep knowledge of USB, it is possible to edit the USB audio code to do something like this. It's actually been discussed a few times on this forum. So far (as I know) nobody who has tried has managed to make it work.

If you can wait a few months, eventually I am planning to implement stereo and at least 6 or 8 channel audio on Teensy 4.0. But today we have no USB audio at all on Teensy 4.0. The USB isochronous OUT endpoint uses asychronous rate feedback, which requires a different protocol at 480 Mbit/sec. Today the existing code on Teensy 3.x implements only the feedback protocol for 12 Mbit/sec USB, so it's not just a simple matter of reusing the old code.
