Can I get some feedback about my oscillator layout on a 2-Layer custom Teensy LC? Should I be making a ground island within my bottom layer ground plane for the oscillator like I have shown in the image below? Am I connecting the oscillator GND back to the main GND in the correct way? Should the decoupling capacitor be connected to the crystal ground pad like I've shown? In the past I've never made a isolated ground for the crystal, but in a recent design I'm having issues with ESD compliance and have been having a hard time figuring out why my prototype is failing. I'm wondering if making a GND island for the oscillator might be something that I need to be doing. Thanks in advance for any feedback you can provide.
