I want to build a full duplex USB audio and MIDI interface for Mac/PC based on a Teensy - preferably a Teensy LC. In terms of audio, the minimum requirement is full duplex stereo CD quality audio. I do not need OS drivers for the audio part (I'll be writing a custom application), but MIDI drivers would be nice.
I know that the Teensy LC doesn't support the audio library but the processor has a I2S/SAI module, and I wonder if it might be suitable for this project?
