Good evening (o;
Just received 2 Teensy 3.6 and 2 Teensy 4.0 boards for experimenting with and do some stepper motor projects later on...
For a quick test I used Arduino 1.8.12 with the Teensy 1.5.1 installer...
When compiling and uploading the Teensy loader pops up...but doesn't do anything...even when pressing the program button...
also when pressing the program button before plugging in the USB cable and release the button afterwards....nothing happens...just timeout...
The same also happens with VSCode platformio...loader pops up but to no joy...
Interestingly I gave it on macOS 10.15.3 a shot with VSCode...and violà...flashing works out of the box....
Is there a special trick on Debian Linux systems?
Like permission settings or adding a user to a specific group (user account is already in dialout group).
thanks in advance
richard
