Teensy LC Diagnose EEPROM Issue

I'm seeing some rare instances of the EEPROM being reset and data stored being corrupted and possibly lost altogether.

I'm wondering...If the teensy is in the middle of writing to EEPROM as the power is lost (unplugged) , could that cause corruption of the memory?

This didn't get a clear answer - but it would seem so. The writes are likely to be non-atomic with interrupts disabled and other overhead. And on the T_LC it is done through emulation efforts not required on the other T_3&4's IIRC.

Thanks for the info. I know it's all pretty hard to say for sure. In an attempt to resolve the issue, on my new LC based devices, I've implemented a power loss detection circuit and replaced the 2.2 uF VCC cap with a 47 uF for some extra juice. This allows me abort saving in the case of a power lose. Only time will tell if it resolves the issue I'm seeing.
