I often need to know the power consumption figures of my boards.
Sometimes it's worthwhile to know the efficiency as well: how much processing power I get for a certain power budget.
So I measured the current draw of my Teensy 3.6 and 4.0 at various clock speeds.
Test setup:
Teensies alone, powered at about 3.3v through "3V" pin and GND.
Disconnected from everything.
Pins in default state.
Onboard LED not used.
Arduino 1.8.12 + Teensyduino 1.52b3
Teensy 3.6 is a regular purchase.
Teensy 4.0 is a pre-production sample from PJRC (thanks again Paul!), should be the last iteration before final unit.
