manual Tutorial that show steps to get circuit-python installed on a teensy 4.0

    Hi everybody,

i did quite a lot google-research to find a manual / tutorial how to install circuitpython on a teensy 4.0.
Of course google had some hits but what I have found so far is not easy to understand and is far away of beeing a step-by-step tutorial with screenshots how to do it.

Is Circuitpython on a teensy 4.0 still in the stage of "just for extremely good nerd-specialists or can it be done easily.
And if does somebody know of a tutoria? As PJRC mentioned that circuitpython can be used on Teensys why don't they put a tutorial online?

For Arduino all is done by installing an exe-file and you are ready to code. Maybe it can't be done that easy with python. One more reason to put a good step-by-step-tutorial online

    best regards Stefan

I'm very new to this, but I managed to install CP to the Teensy 4.1. Go to the CP Teensy 4.0 page: https://circuitpython.org/board/teensy40/

Download the .HEX file, then use the Teensy Loader app to copy it to your board. ( https://www.pjrc.com/teensy/loader.html ) All the info you need is at the Teensy loader app page, I think.

The MU python code editor works well, and is highly recommended by many. If I can figure it out, you can too! :-)
