Dud 3.6, what's the policy of defective parts?

So I have a 3.6 that is not functioning correctly, it will flash normally but the device wont start when on the board. Replacing the 3.6 with another one resolved the issue and I tested it in a different known good board and it doesnt work there either. Bad ones are few and far between (I think this is the 4th one ive seen out of hundreds of LCs and 3.2s) but taking a loss on a $11 LC is a bit different on a part that is 3x the price, please advise..

Did you buy it directly from PJRC? If so, send Robin an email with your 6 digit order number in the subject. Or just reply to the messages you received while ordering, which have that order number.

If you purchased through a distributor, the return needs to go through them.
