Title says it all. I've been using Teensy's with OctoWS2811 to power projects (with as many as 4,000 LEDs) for several years. But my next project is going to be installed in multiple locations many miles away, and I am going to need to be able to remotely manage / update as needed. So unless there's some way to remotely update Teensy, I am thinking this next one need to be RPi based. But, how the heck will I light up 4,000 LEDs without OctoWS2811? Anyone dealt with this situation?

Thanks all.

Ben

You could hang a rpi off your current setup just for uploads. Pi zero with cli teensy loader and a wifi hotspot nearby will do. Vnc or ssh into it, run a script to upload. Monitor serial for debugging.

Link any info/pics of your setup if you have any.

Wow. That’s great.
