Hi,
I am hoping to build a system that can map a series of points in 2D with the aim of building up an overall image and displaying it on a PC. I had a plan involving ultrasonic sensors to measure distance to obtain X and Y values to then map, but it has been suggested that maybe using an old mouse could work for this task, so my question is...

Can I use connect the mouse sensor data straight to a Teensy 3.2, then process it in such a way that I obtain usable X and Y values?

Mouse data- Logitech M90, USB connection.

Attached image is the data packets obtained from a device monitor when performing the actions. (apologies for the colour)

Cheers in advance
