    Teensy 3.6 ACD current leakage

    Hi everyone,
I tried to use Teensy 3.6 as a data logger. The device that I tried to monitor operates at 2V. so, I used Teensy's ADC pins for monitoring the VCC level and other senors' gates on my device under test. My device is powered with a solar cell. I noticed that attaching Teensy to my device result in huge power consumption compared to using the oscilloscope. My question is: Does ADC circuit responsible for this consumption? Teensy is powered using USB.

No. The adc shouldn’t increase current consumption but only draw a few uA.

Indeed, the ADC shouldn't do this. The pin should be a high impedance when used as analog input.

Did you connect the ground on your device to the ground on the Teensy?
