I have a Teensy 3.2-based board that's working well. I just ordered 110 boot loaders for the next batch.
And I just managed to rip the uUSB socket off my board. It's happened twice now in handling 10 or so boards as I've developed the boards and enclosures.
I am man-handling the boards with USB plugged in while I work on the enclosure attachments. (I won't with my one remaining working board)
In 5 years, I have yet to tear a uUSB off of a Teensy board (or any other), and I manhandle them plenty with no enclosure.
I'm looking at swapping out my current part with a new one, possibly this one with through-hole mounts
I note the Teensy 3.2 has no through-hole mounting, but has 4 mounting solder pans in a rough rectangle.
I also like the fact that the socket sticks out a bit from the board edge.
I'd welcome any advice on part selection think I can accommodate just about anything.
@Paul, a reference to the Teensy 3.2 uUSB B socket part would be great.
Thanks!
