Hey, so in preperation for the much anticipated Teensy 4.X bootloader chip, we are currently in the process of developing a new product which we want to feature an in house design of the Teensy 4.1. The SD card interface on the Teensy however is just not enough data rate for us.
Looking at the i.MX RT1060 datasheet, it supports an 8 bit wide, eMMC 4.5 interface, but, this is currently in use by the on board W25Q64J flash chip. In theory, if we were to replace said W25Q64J with something like a SanDisk SDINBDG4-8G-XI1 8GB eMMC device (I know it's eMMC 5.1, but it is backwards compatible), could the contents of the W25Q64J be inserted onto the eMMC device, and with some register/fuse configurating, could this work with the Teensy?
