Quit possible.
The easy/quick way to see if it has function would be the 15second Restore.
>> Press the button and about the (13 to) 15second point the RED LED will blip and then the button should be released.
If anything is working the RED light will go solid as the MCU chip is Restored with formatted FLASH known state with FACTORY BLINK running when complete.
If that works then try using the IDE to program a simple blink - where a button press would be needed for upload.
If that works you can try other things. If that won't work then the MCU is indeed burned out.
