Macbook unable to upload code to teensy
Hi, I am a Macbook user, writing to ask for help on the following issue:
When uploading code to Teensyduino using Teensyduino, it triggers an error stating
"USB Accessories disabled
Unplug the accessory using too much power to re-enable USB devices."
The Teensyduino we are using is currently fully powered by an attached battery, and does not require any power from the Macbooks we are using (Macbook Pro 2015, Macbook Air 2014), both of which are using macOS Catalina.
Currently we have tried resetting the SMC, along with other methods found online for the error message.
Thank you for your help and time, have a good day ahead

Did you cut the connection between VUSB and Vin in order to allow external power in parallel to USB?

On a Mac this happens in one of two scenarios, either it’s simply using too much power or more than likely your power wires are shorted somewhere.

Yes the trace is cut; The bot works with another windows laptop
The bot is also powered externally with a LiPo
