So I wanted a cheap little computer for the shop, one that can run limited programs, mostly browse the internet, and code when needed. the laptop in question is an acer one zg5 c.2007. its a slowpoke 32 bit 1.66 Ghz single core intel atom, 1gb of ram, and 8gb integrated sshd and a 128G sd card. right now I have mint 10 loaded and working, but, there's no support, I've got most of the bugs worked out. but id rather a newer supported distro, but want something super lightweight. I like Mint, and can tolerate Ubuntu. it doesn't need to be slick, just needs to run those few programs. anyone have any suggestions?
